they called me a few hrs after I dropped off my car and told me a price and that they had the part ( sensor) in stock with out any kind of breakdown. I said I need it fixed to get to my chemo treatment and a trip I was going on so I had them do it other wise they were to charge me for an extensive diagnosition of +$100.00. not 20 mins later they call me and tell me that my car was don and was sending someone to pick me up. I get there and look over the paper work and the part only cost 42 bucks but they charged me for 3+ hrs of labor when they were finished within 20 mins. I then asked for the good will program that is offered since my 4 year old car which has just over 28k miles and was only a few months out of warranty. I was then told by my service manager that in order to get the good will they would have to do the extensive diagnosition and the car had to stay the night and then I aske him did you not already do that since you told me that you had to charge me for one if you did not do the work ?? He just had a dumb look on his face and told me that that was VW Americas policy. He knew since I told him I had a DR's appointment the next day and no ride I was in the corner and no choice but to pay and get my car. I then called VW America and they told me that was not VW Americas policy and it was the dealers discretion to do the good will program not VW America and do not require cars to stay over night for the good will program. He flat out lied to me. After doing a little more research the service department at Daytona VW is rated one of the lowest. Then after picking up my car none of my sensors were even working and service department was closed. I found a place that was still open that worked on VW's and they looked at the sensor that was replaced and it was not fully connected and they snapped it in at no charge.

Arrived for 8:15 appt. Checked in. Later told by Service Advisor that part they ordered was on back order and hadn’t arrived. No one had notified me or the Service Advisor. Got car washed and left.
